Animal Style, Protein Style and 3x3 appear on In-N-Out’s official Not So Secret Menu. They describe different choices, so naming the style and the burger clearly is a useful place to start.
For Animal Style, say “A Double-Double Animal Style, please.” Animal Style has a mustard-cooked beef patty with lettuce, tomato and pickles, extra spread and grilled onions. Published nutrition for this style is unavailable.
For Protein Style, say “A Cheeseburger Protein Style, please.” The burger comes wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. Compare the official Protein Style variant for the burger you choose, rather than applying another burger’s total.
Ask for a 3x3 or a Triple Triple. Three beef patties and three slices of American cheese with lettuce, tomato and spread on a bun, with or without onions. In-N-Out does not publish its calories, so this guide does not estimate them.
Animal Style Fries are a community order, not official. In-N-Out does not publish their nutrition. Animal Style is an official burger customization, with no published nutrition for that style.
